Since 1985, East Cheshire Video, has been undertaking video productions
both for industry and the General Public.

Hazel McAllister B.A. (Hons) C.I.E. is one of very few female videographers working in the North West of England. Using the very latest digital technology, backed up with an in-house nonlinear editing facility.

For many years, she has brought her creative Video talents to bear on all manner of social functions. Video coverage has been developed and refined over the years to be as unobtrusive as possible on the day, but produced to the highest professional standards. Using the latest video technology - mastering on 3-chip full-format digital equipment and editing on nonlinear digital equipment for the highest quality.

Our style of video production complements the stills coverage. We work in a fly on the wall documentary manner (using the same equipment on which many television documentaries are produced). The final length of each production depends on the nature of the function, but coverage would normally commence at the synagogue, and conclude at the end of the evening's festivities.

The opening titles can include a growing up sequence of photographs if this is required, and comes to a finale with edited highlights summing up the event in a short sequence. We master the video on full format digital equipment to broadcast standard, backed up by state-of-the-art digital editing, complete with titling and credits to your requirements.

Forward planning is the key to producing a video with professional production values. We need to know in advance, what is going to happen when, to ensure that all the necessary equipment is set up in advance, a perfect example of this is speeches. If we know when and where people will speak, we can guarantee the excellent sound quality of which we are so proud. If events have to be snatched however, these high standards are almost impossible to obtain. This element of planning is a prerequisite for a professional result. To help things go smoothly on the day, we like to have a brief pre-event meeting with you to discuss your requirements.

The finished VHS tape is usually ready for collection within 2-3 weeks, when the balance of payment in full is required. We can also supply S-VHS copies, or 16:9 format widescreen tapes, but this has to be specified before the function. Further tapes may be ordered, which as they are made from the digital master are not copy tapes, but of the fine, original quality.

We can also produce NTSC standard tapes for Viewing on American equipment, which have to be made from a sub-master, and can usually be produced within 4 days of receiving your order. A booking fee of £100 is required to confirm a booking. This is deducted from your bill, but is non-returnable in the event of cancellation.
